Pachinko and pachislot have their own vocabulary, playing methods and hall rules. We use words and illustrations to make these understandable to newcomers.

Our work covers websites, in-hall signs, customer-service training, learning materials and operational manuals for international staff. We discuss each hall’s situation and budget before proposing production or training.

Through high school in the United States and building and managing multinational teams in Malaysia, Makoto has worked on making unfamiliar cultures and systems understandable to newcomers.

He has enjoyed pachinko and pachislot for over 20 years. After returning to Japan, he organized pachinko tours and playing experiences for visitors and supervised industry events. Drawing on feedback from these experiences, he works with halls, manufacturers and industry organizations to create welcoming environments for international guests.

• Start with real situations: use visitors’ questions and moments that are difficult to explain to identify the guidance a hall needs.
• Make it clear for beginners: check terminology, operating steps and illustrations for both guests and staff.
• Apply industry knowledge: work with halls, manufacturers and organizations while respecting game characteristics and each hall’s rules.
